Patient Advocates are available to assist Veterans and their families resolve complaints that cannot be resolved at the point of service. They are responsible for acting as a bridge between the Veteran and the Medical Center staff ensuring their concerns are resolved in a convenient and timely manner. The Patient Advocates are also available to receive compliments for employees from Veterans and their families.
Patient and families shall be informed of their right to present complaints and shall be assisted in how to do so.
Each complaint will be analyzed and, when indicated, appropriate action taken.
