Veterans in Michigan can now have access to a VA benefits counselor even if they live hundreds of miles away. Tele-benefits that affords veterans the opportunity to talk to a knowledgeable specialist in real-time.
VA will be hosting a Veteran benefit presentation on Blue Water Navy benefits and employment assistance programs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Bay College West in Iron Mountain and streamed live.

Flu shots are now available for Veterans at their regularly scheduled VA appointments at Iron Mountain VA and its Community Based Outpatient Clinics. Walk-in flu shot clinics are also scheduled at all locations.
Iron Mountain VA will be hosting presentations on Camp Lejeune benefits, VA telehealth, and Smoke-free campus 5 p.m. CT on Tuesday, September 17, at the VA medical center located at 325 East H Street in Iron Mountain.
Iron Mountain VA is starting an Amputee Peer Group that will meet the fourth Tuesday each month beginning August 27, 2019. It is open to all enrolled Veterans with upper and lower extremity amputations.
Veterans are welcome to test ride different adaptive bikes at an adaptive bike clinic hosted by OGJVAMC and UP SAIL on August 21, anytime from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT at Redemption Hill Church in Kingsford, MI.
