- Don Michelin was the recipient of the 1,000th dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center is presently calling Veterans that are 75-years-old or older.
OGJVAMC begins second series COVID-19 vaccine
- Russell Nyman, Army Veteran from 1956-'58, receives his second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Nyman was one of the first Veterans enrolled in VA services to receive the vaccine.

- Now that the COVID-19 vaccine is becoming available, scammers are calling, texting and emailing Veterans with promises of vaccine availability and early access to vaccines. In reality, these are ways to take your money.
COVID-19 Vaccine Update from the Director
- Director of the OGJVAMC gives an update on vaccination efforts. We have received 1,200 doses of the vaccine. Hundreds of doses have been administered to our health care workers, CLC patients, and high-risk Veterans.
