Academic Partners
Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in conjuction with Bay College provides training for local nursing students. Each year 20 students are afforded the opportunity to gain experience with the VA system.
Veterans Service Organizations
Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center maintains a good working relationship with all of our veteran service organization (VSO) partners. We regularly brief our VSO representatives on changes impacting veterans' health care.
A Veterans Advisory Council (VAC) has been established which includes stakeholders from a number of veterans groups. The VAC meets quarterly.

As a participant in the US Department of Defense TRICARE Program *, Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center serves as the main referral source.
