Russell Nyman, Army Veteran from 1956-'58, receives his second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Nyman was one of the first Veterans enrolled in Iron Mountain VA services to receive the vaccine. We are presently calling Veterans that are 75-years-old or older, or are in one or more of the following categories: homeless; a spinal cord injury, transplant, dialysis, or oncology patient; or have other high-risk comorbidities. More doses of the vaccine are ordered and as they arrive we will be calling and scheduling more Veterans.
