This is an update for COVID-19 testing at the Iron Mountain VA (01/05/2021). Iron Mountain VA has scheduled COVID testing for enrolled Veterans Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon CT and Friday, 8 to 10:45 a.m. CT. Please call (906)774-3300, x33115 to make an appointment. The VA medical center is located at 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI.Please call 906-774-3300 ext. 33115 to make an appointment at least the day before testing (next day appointments are available). This will avoid long waits to be tested.
Patients should check-in with the screeners in the outpatient entrance area where they will be given a form that must be completed prior to testing. They will then be directed to pull up in front of the small treatment building to the left of the main outpatient entrance. Testing results can take from two to seven days. All results will be relayed to patients by phone when they are received by VA providers.
Please note that testing for pre-procedure work-up or those who are seeking treatment for symptoms must go through the Urgent Care Clinic.
