The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, MI, is starting an Amputee Peer Group that will meet the fourth Tuesday each month beginning August 27, 2019.  It is part of the medical center's Whole Health Program and is open to all enrolled Veterans with upper and lower extremity amputations.

The group sessions will be held in OGJVAMC's Whole Health Clinic (Room 3286) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. CT.  The Amputee Peer Group will provide a relaxed group atmosphere for Veterans to talk with other Veterans about their amputee experience and to provide and/or receive information about living with an amputation.

For more information or to register, call the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service at (906) 774-3300, extension 34582, or the Whole Heatlh Program at extension 34793.  No referral is needed.
